Hospitals have very recently become a new frontline in the battle against rapidly moving infectious diseases and potential bioterrorist attacks. A new skill set is required of our hospital security guards, which tempers the necessary vigilance against negative behaviours and events with a compassionate concern for the well being of sick and diminished patients.
